Where are the pyramids in Egypt?

The pyramids of Egypt are mainly situated on the Giza Plateau. The most famous among them is the Great Pyramid of Giza, built as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu. It is also recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Giza complex includes two other major pyramids: the Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure.
