How can I apply for an Egypt visa as a Swiss citizen?
There are two ways to apply for an Egypt visa as a Swiss citizen:
1. Online (e-visa): This is the simplest and most convenient way to apply for a visa. To apply for an e-visa, you will need to:
- Go to the Egyptian Immigration Services website.
- Create an account and fill out the e-visa application form.
- Provide required documents, such as your passport photo and a copy of your passport.
- Pay the e-visa fee using a credit or debit card.
- Once your application is approved, you will receive an e-visa via email.
- Print out your e-visa and present it to immigration officials upon arrival in Egypt.
2. On arrival: You can also apply for a visa on arrival at most Egyptian ports of entry. However, this process can be time-consuming and there is no guarantee that your visa will be approved. To apply for a visa on arrival, you will need to:
- Fill out a visa application form.
- Pay the visa fee in cash.
- Present your passport and other required documents, such as a proof of return ticket and proof of sufficient funds.
