Do Greek citizens need a visa for Egypt?

Yes, Greek nationals require a visa to enter Egypt. Before visiting Egypt, all international visitors, including Greek nationals, must get a visa from the Egyptian government. 

Greek individuals will need to enter some basic information about themselves, such as their name, residence, passport data, and travel itinerary, in order to apply for an e-visa. They must also attach a digital copy of their passport as well as a current passport-sized picture.

The e-visa will be emailed to the applicant by Egypt Immigration Services once the application has been filed and accepted. When going to Egypt, Greek citizens should print a copy of their e-visa and have it with them in case they are requested to show it at immigration.

It should be noted that the type of visa required may differ based on the purpose of the traveler's visit. For example, if a Greek national wishes to visit Egypt for tourism, they must apply for a tourist visa. They will need to apply for a business or work visa if they are going for business or work.
